Appearance
Atlas can have a different profile in each server. In the dashboard, open Appearance to set its display name, bio, avatar, and banner for your server. These changes only affect how Atlas appears in that server.
Appearances and standalone bots are available with an Atlas Prime subscription.
# Guild appearances
A guild appearance customises the Atlas bot that is already in your server. It is the recommended way to give Atlas your community's name and visual style while keeping the normal Atlas setup.

# Standalone bots
Standalone bots are strongly discouraged. They are rarely needed, add setup and maintenance work, and do not provide improved uptime. Use the Appearance settings for new setups.
A standalone bot runs Atlas through a Discord application that you create. It has its own bot account and application identity. When you create a standalone bot you'll be walked through the setup process, which requires creating a Discord application and bot account, inviting it to your server, and configuring its settings in the dashboard.
The main Atlas bot must remain in the server because it handles event processing. You can disable role hoisting for Atlas if you do not want it near the top of the member list.
Discord requires a standalone bot to be verified when it serves 10,000 users. This can apply to a single large server. Atlas cannot complete verification for an application that you own, which makes standalone bots a poor fit for large communities.
A bot token gives complete control of its bot account. Keep it private, do not share it in messages or screenshots, and reset it in the Discord Developer Portal if you think it has been exposed.
