Prime grace periods
When an Atlas Prime membership ends, servers using that subscription begin a 7-day grace period. This gives you time to renew, replace, or tidy up any configuration exceeding the free limits. Once the grace period ends, Atlas will automatically adjust anything that exceeds them.
# During the grace period
Prime features already configured in the server continue working until the grace period ends. Atlas does not let you enable or configure new Prime-only features while the server is in its grace period.
The server dashboard shows how much time remains and identifies settings that are above the free limits. Shortly after the grace period starts Atlas also notifies the subscription holder and owners of affected servers directly. These messages are only sent when a server has configuration that needs attention.
If a server is already within the free limits, nothing needs to be changed when its grace period ends and no further action is required.
# Restoring Prime
Renewing the existing membership restores Prime automatically. A server administrator can also apply another active Prime subscription from the banner in the dashboard or with /prime use.
Restoring or applying a Prime membership before the grace period ends will keep the current configuration unchanged.
# When the grace period ends
After the grace period, Atlas adjusts configuration that cannot continue on the free plan. Depending on what is configured, this can include disabling excess actions, disabling Prime-only plugins, disabling a custom bot, disabling excess starboard outputs, resetting level curves, or disabling premium features.
Other Prime-only settings may stop working after the grace period even when Atlas does not remove their saved configuration, such as custom messages. They'll stop working until a new Prime subscription is applied, then will continue working as before.
