Limiting Plugins and Commands
Restrictions control where a plugin, command, or action can run. They can allow or block selected channels, categories, roles, users, and permissions. You will also see them on some feature-specific items, such as moderation filters and starboard outputs.
A common use is keeping a plugin such as Fun in #bot-commands or #off-topic so its commands do not interrupt other channels.
Plugin restrictions apply to their commands by default. A command can also have its own restriction. Both restrictions must pass. Command settings can opt out of the plugin restriction with Bypass Plugin Restrictions.
Restrictions are checked by Atlas. They do not change Discord permissions.
Deleted channels and roles remain in a restriction so that deleting an item cannot accidentally open access. Atlas continues to enforce them and tells users when a restriction includes deleted channels or roles. Update the restriction to remove or replace the deleted item.
