Suggestions
The Suggestions plugin lets members submit ideas and lets staff review, approve, deny, and track them. You can receive suggestions from a dedicated channel, send them to a review channel first, and publish approved suggestions for community voting.
Suggestions are available with an Atlas Prime subscription.
Choose a review channel when staff should approve or deny ideas before they are published. Approved suggestions can be published for community voting.
You can make suggestions anonymous and prevent members from voting on their own ideas. The status messages sent by the plugin support scripts. Start with Scripts, then see the Suggestion tags for the values available in those templates.
# Review and voting
When a verification channel is set, new suggestions are sent there first for review. Members who can manage that channel can approve or deny them. A management role limits that to members with the role. Approved suggestions are posted in the suggestion channel for voting.
Without a verification channel, suggestions can be posted directly to the suggestion channel. These settings do not grant channel access.
Anonymous Suggestions hides the author from the public suggestion. Moderators can still see the author while reviewing it. Direct-Message Updates can fail when a member has DMs closed. Prevent Self Votes stops the suggestion author from voting on their own suggestion.
